Buchanan County Food Card

     

Before shopping at a local food pantry in Buchanan County, you must visit the Social Welfare Board where you will be issued a food card.  The Board is located at:

Business Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Thursday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Closed on all legal holidays:
Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

 
You will need to take the following items with you.
  • Proof of Identity
  • Proof of Residency
  • Your Social Security Number
  • Name(s) of household member(s)
  • Social Security Number(s) of household member(s)
  • Proof of Income
