Second Harvest of Greater St. Joseph is looking for your help this Holiday season. When shopping for groceries, team up with your local grocery store and contribute to Check Out Hunger.

Simply by donating an extra $1 or $5 to your total bill, you can help feed our hunger neighbors this holiday season.            

This year, there are 17 local grocery stores participating, including:

• Hy-Vee in Bethany, Mo.
• Country Mart in Cameron, Mo.
• Total in Highland, Kan.
• Dillon’s in Leavenworth, Kan.
• Dungy’s Affiliated in Maysville, Mo.
• Hy-Vee in Maryville, Mo.
• Big G Foodland in Princeton, Mo.
• Country Mart and Green Hills in Savannah, Mo.
• Rainey’s Supermarket in Stanberry, Mo.
• Hy-Vee in Tarkio, Mo.
• Hy-Vee in Trenton, Mo.
• Kovac’s (both stores) in St. Joseph
• Ray’s Green Hills and Roger’s Green Hills in St. Joseph
• Sack-n-Save in St. Joseph, Mo.

Next time you are in line, look for your cashier’s button that says “Ask me about Check Out Hunger, “ and let them know you’d like to help ensure no one goes hungry this holiday season.
