Hunger in Our Community
 

In order to reach 25,000 individuals each month, Second Harvest of St. Joseph relies on the kindness of individuals, corporations and others to support our efforts to erase hunger in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas.

You might be interested to know that of the clients we serve:

◘  20% are age 65 or older
◘  40% are over age 50
◘  20% are under age 18
◘  Nearly 1/3 of households served have at least one
    member employed
◘  58% have completed high school or more
◘  31% report choosing between food and
    utilities/heat in past 12 months
